In the episode aired last August 5 on tvN, Hospital playlist 2 episode 7 recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 10.643% on paid subscription or cable tv platform. Comparing to the previous episode 6, the numbers slightly decreased from 13.151%.
The drama started with a 10.007% viewership rating and every week or every episode since then, the ratings increased. However, when they achieved their best viewership rating yet, which is 13.151%, it started declining already. Does this mean that it will continue to decline in the upcoming episodes and that their best viewership rating will only get stuck on 13.151%?
The interruption of broadcast for new episode last July 29 must have affected the viewer's flow in watching the drama. The Tokyo Olympics and baseball relay might have influence on the decline of viewership rating of Hospital Playlist 2.
Same thing happened with The Penthouse 3, actually. It skipped a week to give way to the Tokyo Olympics opening day and the next week, the viewership rating already declined. So I think, we shouldn't get worried yet not unless it has been 2 or 3 consecutive episodes we see such happening.
